April map
Important things to know about the food truck festival
Covid -
This is an outdoor free event so masks are not mandated, however if you are not vaccinated we recommend wearing a mask while in line to order.
We highly encourage social distancing.
We will also have masks at the information booth if you need one.
Please stay home if you are sick.
Most importantly be kind and respectful to your fellow festival goers.
Parking -
There are parking decks all around the event.
1) Greene St and Washington St across from Governmental Plaza
2) Bellemeade St one block down on Greene St
3) Davie St is one block over from Zone 4 on Elm St
4) Eugene St is across from First National Bank Field
5) There are lots near the court house and the police station that are all free on Sundays.
Traffic
Elm Street will be open and there is construction on Eugene St
Your best bet is to park on the Washington st side of the event in the lots near the court house. Do not park in a lot that says towing strictly enforced, you will get towed.
ATMs
There are 3 ATMs in the event footprint. Cash Points right in front of
Governmental Plaza, BB&T at the corner of Greene and Market St
and Bank of America on Elm St.
Pets
Please do not bring your pets. This is a large crowd and it is safer for you, the other people at the event and your pet if they stay at home.
Seating
There will be picnic tables, tables and chairs available as well as many benches
in the area, but we cannot always accommodate everyone, so please feel free
to bring chairs or blankets.
Keeping Cool
If they are predicting unusually hot weather for the April 30 event there will be misters
in Governmental Plaza by the Port a Jons. There are also a good amount of cold treat vendors to enjoy.
Information
The information Booth will be on the corner of Greene St and Market St if you
need any additional information.
Alcohol
We have a great selection of beer, but please do not walk out of the perimeter with alcohol or bring outside alcohol into the festival.
